Good Samaritan Hospice (GSH), a mission of Concordia Lutheran Ministries, will host a free grief workshop for all ages titled “Unwrapping the Holidays with Hope!” from 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Nov. 8.
The group will be held at its location in Middlesex Twp., 116 Browns Hill Rd., Valencia, PA 16059, with registration opening at 9:30 a.m.
This one-day bereavement event will focus on how to cope through the holiday season. It will offer families of all faiths an opportunity to come together in prayer, hold meaningful discussion and participate in grief processing activities.
This event is for all ages, and a breakout session for children will be held by Good Samaritan Hospice’s new youth program, Hope’s Road (formerly Youth Bereavement Care). Light refreshments will be provided.
Registration is recommended for this event by Oct. 24.
