The Red Rock Weekend

Let’s head to the lands of Aragón for a weekend adventure combining the hike to the striking Castillo de Peracense, and the surreal terrain of Sierra de Armantes, where red clay formations and panoramic ridges offer a taste of the Wild West.

Saturday, May 17:
Departure from Valencia at 9:30
Drive to Calatayud (~3 hours)
Hike Sierra de Armantes (medium, ~15km, 350m+)
Check in the hotel
Night in Calatayud

Sunday, May 18:
Breakfast in the hotel
Drive to Peracense (~1 hour)
Hike to Castillo de Peracense (easy, ~8km, 300m+)
Post-hike drinks
Return to Valencia ~18:00

During the trip, we will stay at the cozy hotel Hotel Fornos, conviniently located in the centre of Calatayud.

The price of the trip is €155 per person (€135 signing up before May 2). €40 paid in advance to reserve the spot, balance due by May 9. The price is for a person sharing a twin room. You can reserve a single room for additional 35 euros.

Members get a €10 discount.
