Our visit to Arcos de las Salinas will combine a journey to the cosmos at the Galáctica astronomy center with a variety of hikes – from easy riverside strolls to challenging mountain ascents.
Saturday, September 20:
Departure from Valencia at 9:30
Drive to Arcos de las Salinas (~1.5 hours) and stop for coffee
Easy hike to the salt mines and along the fluvial trail (~7km, 100m+)
Visit the astronomical center Galáctica at 16:00
Check in the hotel and rest
Nocturnal stargazing at the observatory at 22:30

Sunday, September 21:
Breakfast in the hotel
Hike to Pico del Buitre (8.3km, 475m+)
Post-hike drinks
Return to Valencia ~18:00
The price of the trip is €210 per person (€185 signing up before September 1). €50 paid in advance to reserve the spot, balance due by September 14. The price is for a person sharing a twin room. You can reserve a single room for additional 50 euros.
Members get a €10 discount.
