DrawProject is in the midst of an experimental year and we are calling it Quick Draw!!! DrawProject will return in 2026 :)
This year's art fundraiser brings together artists, community, and supporters to raise funds for VSU Art & Design students. You'll find artwork available in three ways: $50 "Buy It Now" works, gallery and online bidding, and a live auction at our closing reception on November 6, 2025. All proceeds support student scholarships and merit awards. Thank you for helping us celebrate creativity and make a lasting impact!

New Things:
This year’s fundraiser includes some new things, including a venue change, a “Buy it Now” category and the inclusion of 3D works. As the name suggests, this event will happen earlier in the year and be open for a shorter period. We will continue utilizing GiveSmart throughout the event, so you do not need to come to the gallery to purchase your art. “Buy It Now” options and bidding will be open online from 11/3/2025 through 11/6/2025. For those of you who love the excitement of the in-person event, we’ll be hosting a closing reception on 11/6/2025 from 5-6:30pm to celebrate the artists, thank our community partners, and hold a live auction for a selection of works.
How to donate:
All art donations will be happily accepted by 10/31/25 at the VSU Art & Design office. All donations will be sorted into three categories:
• All 2D works 8” x 10” or smaller will be placed in the “Buy It Now” category, for sale for $50.
• A small selection of donations will be put into a “Live Auction Only” category for sale at the in-person event.
• All remaining 2D items at or around the traditional 15” x 22: size, along with all remaining 3D items will be exhibited in the Dedo Maranville Fine Arts Gallery and put up for bidding on GiveSmart just like in past years.
We have plenty of paper to share with our donors, which can be picked up in the VSU Art & Design Office or at the Annette Howell Turner Center for the Arts.
