Georg Marander + avec (FI)
Georg Marander + Avec is Vaasa's only glittery, electro-acoustic, Italian-inspired indie duo. The duo released the new single "Mors lilla Olle" in the summer of 2025 and has played at clubs, festivals and a museum farm in recent years. Songs like "Vi åker till Italien", "Begrava mig" and "Merlin" would probably have been blog hits if it was still 2008. You won't find more local musicians than this in Vöråstan.
K.ola (ISL)
K.ÓLA brings a playful and colorful vision to the stage with a unique DIY approach. Over the past seven years, she has performed both solo and with a band, captivating audiences with her electric bass or guitar and distinctive vocals. Her songs, sung in Icelandic and English, feature simple yet mesmerizing melodies that leave a lasting impression.
She has been nominated for -and received- music awards in Iceland, and has taken part in numerous performances across the Nordic countries. K.ÓLA has also collaborated with local artists in both Iceland and Greenland, further enriching her creative expression and musical network.
Tinyhawk & Bizarro (FI)
With the electric guitar as a springboard for imagination and boundless musical movement, Jenni Kinnunen has created Tinyhawk & Bizzarro – a band where adventure, cinematic landscapes, and unexpected twists collide. Together with Markus Väisänen (guitar), Teemu Aho (bass), and Jaakko Pöyhönen (drums), she shapes a sound that spans from flamenco rhythms and Spanish classical elegance to psychedelic grooves and euphoric energy, drawing inspiration from Studio Ghibli, The Beatles, and Khruangbin. Their acclaimed debut album Nekorok (2023) earned them the Indie Award for Newcomer of the Year and the prestigious Teosto Prize in 2024. Tinyhawk & Bizzarro will bring their powerful, genre-defying instrumental rock to the stage at Aurora Music Forum – don’t miss this unique live performance!
