Ickenham Library Clothes Mend and Natter

Join us at Ickenham Library with your clothes mending pile.

All levels of sewing welcome, from beginners to advance sewing skills, there’s always something new to share or learn. We will have patching and darning guides, sewing equipment, mending books and samples to inspire and get you started.

We will have the "Dutchess" our hand powered vintage singer sewing machine that can be used to sew up hems and simple mends.

Bring along clothes that need mending for some helpful suggestions from our volunteers on how to fix your items.

We ask for a small donation, £4 for the session to cover costs of equipment and expenses.
