The Contact Improvisation Jam in Utrecht is coming up again next Sunday! This time with live music!

Let's share some beautiful dances; play and do movement explorations together.
A Jam is a open space where we can practice and enjoy this unique somatic dance form. Acting and reacting on each other's movements can be the starting point of the dance. You can move in the jam however you like: in a duo, a solo, trio etc. Sometimes we dance on music and sometimes we move in silence – always with care and attention. Or we just have a little break, witnessing the jam by watching at the side of the dance floor…
The jam is open for participants of all levels, and is welcoming amateurs and newcomers to the form and practice.
• No prior experience required.
• A guided warming up will help us to arrive in our bodies and guide us into dancing.

The Utrecht Jam takes place every 1st . Sunday of the month:
- 2025: October 5th, November 2nd & December 7th.
This season we're back at
► @ Danscentrum Utrecht, Monseigneur van de Weteringstraat 13-A
► Time: 14-17h (doors will be open at 13:45)
-Guided warm-up leading into the jam.
-Feel free to join later and take care of your own warming-up.
-We will close together in a circle around 16:45.
► Cost: € 10-15 (sliding scale; minimum € 5)
- No registration required.
