Residents can dispose of sensitive paperwork at the annual shred day event sponsored by the Shelby Township Police Department, Absolute Shreds of Auburn Hills and the Four County Community Foundation.
The shred day is part of the police department’s ongoing crime prevention measures. It is free to residents and businesses in Shelby Township.
Residents should bring documents to be professionally shredded. The shredder will recycle documents with any plastic/paper bags in which they are brought. Boxes will be returned to the individual who brought them. Businesses located in Shelby Township are urged to bring only two boxes of documents to be shredded.
