Get ready for our October Courtyard Caper featuring Sarah Beth McLellan (solo jazz) for the mini-workshop, with a social dance to a live performance by The Sweet Nothings!

Mini-Workshop:
Instructor: Sarah Beth McLellan (Grand Rapids, MI)
Location: Campus Recreation Center East (CRCE), MP2 (1102 W Gregory Dr, Urbana, IL)
Time: 1-5pm
Cost: $20 UIUC Students/$40 General (includes evening dance)
Pre-requisites: This is an all-levels class.
Course Description: Want to make your solo dancing unique to you, but not sure where to start? This is the class for you. In this workshop, we’ll explore different ways of moving, play around with different prompts, and develop our own variations to steps you already know and love. Whether you’re new to the solo scene or a seasoned dancer, this class will challenge you to think outside the box to make your dancing fresh.
Dress Code: Please wear athletic clothing, as we will be moving around and doing floor work (no skirts, please).

Dinner Fundraiser:
Join us at Mia Za's for a dinner fundraiser from 4-8pm. The restaurant is donating 20% of the proceeds toward the Illini Swing Society if you order in person at the register (not the kiosk) and show our flyer.
A group of us will be going directly after the mini-workshop (~5:30pm) and eating upstairs. All are welcome!

Beginner Drop-in Lesson: 7-8pm (no partner or experience necessary!)
Time: 8-10:30pm
Cost: FREE for UIUC Students/$15 General
