Kransnedläggning

Välkommen på Norrlands nations kransnedläggning.

Lördagen den 1 november, samlas nationsmedlemmar klockan 12:00 utanför nationens gamla del för att under nationens fana tåga iväg till nationsgraven på Gamla kyrkogården. Där kommer bortgångna landsmän och landsmaninnor att hedras med körsång, krans och betraktelser.

Efter kransnedläggningen tågar vi tillbaka till nationen där det kommer att bjudas på fika i Gulans salong, samt tillfälle för umgänge och samtal. Fikat är helt gratis och ingen föranmälan krävs.

Welcome to the Norrland Nation's Kransnedläggning (wreath-laying) ceremony.

On Saturday 1 November, members of the nation will gather at 12:00 outside the entrance to the Old Part to march under the nation's flag to the nation's grave at the Old Cemetery. There, deceased compatriots will be honored with choral singing, wreaths, and reflections.

After the Kransnedläggning's ceremony, we will return to the nation where there will be refreshments in the Gulans Salong, as well as an opportunity for socialisering and conversation. The fika is completely free and no pre-registration is required.
