Under höstterminen 2025 lanseras Uppsalaföreläsningarna, en föreläsningsserie med engagerade alumner från Uppsala, med fokuset på föreläsarens dåtid, som student. Nutid, som dess person. Framtid, som en inspiration för studenterna.
Mantrat för föreläsningarna är många. En inblick i dåtiden, förståelse av nutiden, med hopp om framtiden. En alumn, ett samtal, ett avtryck. Ett forum för nyfikenhet och idéer som är värda att förmedlas mellan generationer.
Konceptet är enkel till sin utformning. Två gånger per termin bjuds föreläsare in som tillsammans med en forskare inom relevant område och en student med koppling till dennes nation samt fakultet för en timme långt samtal.
Samtalet sker på den nation föreläsaren kommer från. Forskaren ställer frågor relaterat till föreläsarens kunskapsområde, som studenten om dess tid som ställer frågor om hur föreläsaren påverkades av sin tid i Uppsala, och hur det ledde in på den stig i livet den nu vandrar.

/ ABOUT “UPPSALAFÖRELÄSNINGARNA” /
During the fall of 2025, we launch the Uppsala Lectures, a series of lectures with committed alumni from Uppsala, focusing on the lecturer's past, as a student. Present, as its person. Future, as an inspiration for the students.
The mantra for the lectures are many. An insight into the past, understanding the present, with hope for the future. An alumnus, a conversation, an imprint. A forum for curiosity and ideas worth passing on between generations.
The concept is simple in its design. Twice a semester, lecturers are invited to join a researcher in a relevant field and a student connected to their nation and faculty for an hour-long conversation. The discussion takes place at the nation the lecturer comes from. The researcher asks questions related to the lecturer's field of knowledge, the student will ask questions about how the lecturer was influenced by their time in Uppsala, and how it led to the path in life he now walks.
