Welcoming Aucklands Volcanic City Rollers and Richter City Roller Derby B team to (not Kapiti) Upper Hutt for a fab afternoon of derby!

"Sadly folks we are having to move this epic event to Upper Hutt.

The college gym was subject to water damage yesterday (Thursday - ball meets sprinkler) and we are not able to skate on the floor! We are very lucky to be able to move this event to the old rink in Upper Hutt, especially at a time where venues for roller skating are at a premium and we are also in the last days of the rink. We are very lucky to have somewhere to move to.

I know this means that a lot of you amazing Kapiti Coast people will not make it but we hope that you love roller derby and the KCDC Krakens so much that you'll drive over the hill anyway! The Upper Hutt Spring Fair is on too... a double reason to head over!

Doors Will still be open around 12:30 for a 1:00 p.m. start. We have two epic games to get through and we're not going to let a bit of water get in our way of having a good time!"
