Coomera Anglican College warmly invites parents and caregivers to join us for our Term 4 RiSE Parent Evening with internationally recognised Psychologist, Professor Lea Waters.
Professor Waters is the founder of Visible Wellbeing, an approach developed from 20 years of research in psychology and education. Simply put, Visible Wellbeing helps children and families recognise, understand, and build on the skills and strengths that support happiness, confidence, and learning.
In this session, Lea will share practical, easy-to-apply strategies that parents can use at home to boost their child’s wellbeing, strengthen family relationships, and support positive growth.
With Secondary Parent Teacher Interviews finishing just before the event, this is the perfect opportunity to enjoy a drink and some nibbles, and then settle in for an engaging and practical evening designed specifically for parents and caregivers. Students are welcome to enjoy the food and can relax in the Wellbeing Centre for the duration of the presentation.
📘 Lea’s book, Parent Switch, will also be available for purchase on the night.
