In this workshop, we’re blending Kung Fu San Soo and Pentjak Silat Bukti Negara to look at how two very different disciplines deal with the same problems—timing, pressure, balance, and violence.
San Soo favors directness and forward pressure through striking, locking, and throwing.
Silat Bukti Negara works through deception, off-balancing, footwork, and precise timing.
Put side by side, the overlap becomes clear.
So do the differences.
You’ll experience:
• How both systems deal with initiative, interception, and follow-through
• When power carries the exchange—and when timing shuts it down
• How structure, angles, and footwork decide the outcome before contact
• Why “blocking” usually means you’re already late
