Wicca is a modern, earth-based religion based on the ancient folk magick and beliefs of the British Isles. Modern-day Wicca works with the magick of the elements of nature and honors the
divine feminine. It is one of the fastest-growing religions in the country and has helped many develop inner power and find a deeper connection to the magick all around them.
The Philosophy and Magick of Wicca course taught by Denise White will provide a solid knowledge and skill base. It includes lectures, group discussions, exercises, and guided meditations.
Appropriate for beginners as well as experienced solitary practitioners who wish to expand their knowledge base and learn more about group magickal practice.
This 8-class course will meet Friday evenings at 7:00pm - 8:30pm. Course classes will be held at OMBody, 90 West Main Street,
Uniontown, PA.
Students will also have access to a virtual study group for the duration of the course. The cost of the course is $80 and collected in advance to cover space use and the cost of supplies.
Denise White is a third-degree Wiccan high priestess of eclectic Gardnerian tradition. She has led a training coven, Goddess Grove; and is currently the Elder Priestess of a progressive Wiccan
coven, HearthFire. She holds clergy credentials through Covenant of the Goddess and is active with Hills and Rivers local council. Denise has taught and trained folks in the Pittsburgh area for
several years and is excited to share the beautiful path of Wicca to the local region.
