February Workshop: Junk Journals & Collage Fodder

Shake the mid-winter blues and get creative in this fun and challenging hands-on workshop. Learn to create your own art journal and make fun, unique collage elements to decorate it. Express your creativity, preserve memories, and keep track of your thoughts and ideas using unexpected and unusual materials. This project is a great way to repurpose items you might otherwise consider as “junk.”

The $20 cost of the workshop includes a starter kit featuring everything you need to build a small handmade journal and decorate it with your own unique collage elements.

Provided for your use are:
A glue stick and tape
Scissors
A sturdy needle and thread
Stapler
Pens, pencils, markers, and crayons
A variety of papers and other embellishments fro the instructor's creative stash.
