Meet the Artists - Fahiym Williams and Vanessa Kelly

Fahiym Williams and Vanessa Kelly are not only cousins and lifelong friends—they’re also united by a deep passion for creating art. “It Takes a Village” is a celebration of their shared story: a tribute to the power of community, the influence of upbringing, and the confidence that grows when we uplift one another to live as our most authentic selves.

Through vivid drawings and expressive paintings, Fahiym Williams captures the beauty of everyday life and the people within it, showcasing his signature love of color and emotion.

Vanessa Kelly brings her creative spirit into every facet of her life—as a scientist, makeup formulator, and visual artist. She is the founder of the Expressions Center for Black Art, a nonprofit organization based in Long Island, NY, dedicated to educating, elevating, and celebrating Black art and culture.
