Sun and Moon Gazing with the Cincinnati Astronomical Society at Big Bone Lick State Historic Site

Join Cincinnati Astronomical Society volunteers at Big Bone Lick State Historic Site for an evening of viewing the sun and the Moon. We will begin at 7:30 PM, viewing the sun using telescopes with safe solar filters. The sun is near solar maximum this year, which produces an elevated number of sunspots, flares and prominences.

Starting at dusk we will view the crescent Moon, which is awesome to see through a telescope.
