Important message From Steve Fam Jam Support
I want to speak honestly for a moment.
In the past few weeks, I’ve had more conversations than I can count with local families who are feeling unsettled. With the Home Office moving ahead and the imminent arrivals, it’s no surprise that tensions in Crowborough are high. People are worried, trying to make sense of it all, and doing their best to keep their homes steady when the town feels anything but.
We hear you because we live and breathe right here in the heart of Crowborough too. We’re not outsiders looking in. We’re part of this community, raising our family here, feeling the same shifts and the same strain.
That’s exactly why Genevieve and I have been supporting families quietly behind the scenes. Not because we have every answer, but because no one should have to navigate this alone. We’re helping people talk things through, put simple, reassuring safety plans in place, and steady the emotional load so the whole household feels stronger and more prepared.
We also recognise how much people are carrying internally right now. So alongside our private support, we’ve set up free men’s and women’s groups at The Lounge places to talk openly, breathe out a bit, and feel connected to others who understand exactly what you’re going through.
If you’d like to join us this Thursday from 6–8pm, you can reserve your space here:

We’re here to listen, steady things, and help families feel safer, calmer and more supported one conversation at a time.
