Hookies Fire Co. Open House Fire Safety Day

Hookies Fire Company Open House and Fire Safety Day. Come and see vehicle rescue demonstrations and learn about Fire prevention and safety. Kids can crawl through a simulator showing them how to react what to do incase of a fire in their home. Other agencies such as the Tyrone Police Department will have items on display as will the Blair County Sheriff’s Office. Tyrone PD will do child seat safety inspections if you are unsure how to properly put your child's in your vehicle. We will also be handing out Fire safety and fire prevention items to the kids. Food will be available at the event. Come and see what we are all about. Other businesses will be on hand as well to hand items out to the kids. We have also confirmed that our friend Smokey The Bear will be here to visit with the kids and promoting fire safety. We will be there from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Membership applications will be available as well if you would like to volunteer and help serve your community. It is a rain or shine event
