An Evening with Girish

Girish is an internationally touring world music artist, teacher, and author. A former jazz drummer, Hindu monk, and session tabla player on more than 100 world music albums, he now writes, records, and performs original music—and teaches Sanskrit mantras and chanting at music festivals, retreat centers, and yoga studios around the world.

His seven albums have received critical acclaim from O, The Oprah Magazine, Yoga Journal, and The Guardian, and his book, Music and Mantras, continues his mission to share the art of meditation through music.
