SPECIAL EVENT: Donna Lee

Donna Lee celebrates her Thai and Irish roots through anecdotal comedy and sharing her funny family stories. Donna was born in Thailand but got to Texas as soon as she could and calls Austin, Tx her home. She started her stand-up comedy career in 2006 as a Finalist on Nick@Nite’s “Search for the Funniest Mom in America” with host Katey Sagal. For six years, Donna juggled the challenges of motherhood, comedy tours, and a successful medical sales career. In 2012, she took a hiatus from comedy and committed to raising her family and excelling at her career. Twelve years later, with her boys now grown, her four wiener dogs and her husband potty trained, she returned to comedy full-time in May 2024. Currently, she’s traveling around the country, performing at the nation’s best comedy clubs and is also a member of the national standup comedy group, “Moms Unhinged.” Donna’s also a host and producer of the award-winning radio show and podcast “The Armor Men’s Health Show with Dr. Mistry and Donna Lee” and host and producer of the popular “Ryan Wayne Salon Podcast with Joseph Ryan and Donna Lee.” She recently co-aurthored a book with original “Shark Tank” judge and entrepreneur Kevin Harrington, called “Building Wealth, Building Legacy,” in which she contributed her story about how humor saved her life…and her sanity. Donna has worked with some of her favorite comedians, including Jo Koy, Leanne Morgan, DL Hughley, Bill Engvall and many more.
