Eagle View Lecture Series - Marshall Evans

Learn about the remarkable true story of Robert Smalls—the enslaved man who captured a Confederate warship, became the first Black U.S. Navy captain, and later a U.S. Congressman.

Marshall Evans brings the spirit of the coast to the stage, sharing stories from his South Carolina roots and his journey building a lifestyle around fishing, hunting, and coastal living. He inspires audiences to connect with nature, embrace adventure, and live with purpose. Along with themes of resilience, storytelling, and conservation, Marshall also shares insights from his book The Wheelman, offering a powerful perspective on navigating life with grit and authenticity.
