Join us on Thursday, October 2, 2025, from 5:30–7:00 PM for a special evening with novelist Joe Taylor, longtime director of Livingston Press at the University of West Alabama.

Taylor is the author of nine published novels, most recently Don’t Be Lonely, Lone Ranger, which received glowing reviews from Kirkus Reviews and literary critic Don Noble. Known for his sharp wit and richly drawn characters, Taylor has established himself as a distinctive voice in contemporary Southern literature. And he’s not slowing down! Three new novels are scheduled to be released in the next 15 months.

This event is a chance to hear directly from Taylor about his writing process, his decades of publishing experience, and what readers can expect from his forthcoming work.
