Prudence Peckham Marsh, Ed.D. is a writer, educator, and parent. She earned her Doctor of Education degree from the University of Massachusetts, with a focus on children’s literature. Prudence sees children as innately curious, creative, and connected to nature, and with guidance, a child’s curiosity and capacity is limitless. Prudence lives with her family and their own cast of animal characters in the hills of western Massachusetts.

The Great Falls Discovery Center is located at 2 Avenue A, Turners Falls, MA 01376. Those taking public transit can reach the park by taking FRTA’s Route 23 to the Ave A and 3rd Street stop:

The Discovery Center has three accessible parking spaces, located near the main entrance to the Center. There is an automatic door to enter the main entrance. The Great Hall does not have an automatic door. Those in wheelchairs can access the space through the ramp in the interior of the building. There is an accessible restroom.
