Kitaristilegenda Ben Granfelt julkaisee jo 21. studioalbuminsa “It’s Personal” 30.05.2025. Kyseessä on harvinainen tupla-albumi, studioalbumin ja livealbumin yhdistelmä.
Studioalbumi on vaihteeksi instrumentaalilevytys, jollaista Granfeltilta on toivottu pitkään - kokoelma hienoja melodioita, riffejä ja toki myös kitarasooloja.
“Äänitimme pohjaraidat livenä Masa Maijasen (basso) ja Jari Salmisen (rummut) kanssa isossa huoneessa, ja sitten lukitsin itseni pieneen studioon äänittämään kitaroita ja luomaan soundeja. Mielestäni lopputulos on hyvin spesiaali ja henkilökohtainen, ja olen siitä ylpeä.”
Tupla-albumin live-levytys sisältää sekä laulettuja että instrumentaalibiisejä. Bändi selvästi todella nauttii yhdessä soittamisesta. Albumi on äänitetty vuoden 2024 Gratitude-kiertueen aikana.

Guitar legend Ben Granfelt is releasing his 21st studio album “It’s Personal” on 30th of May 2025! It’s a rare double album, a combination of a studio album and a live album.
The studio album is an instrumental recording, something Granfelt has been wanting for a long time - a collection of great melodies, riffs and of course also guitar solos.
“We recorded the background tracks live with Masa Maijanen (bass) and Jari Salminen (drums) in a big room, and then I locked myself in a small studio to record guitars and create sounds. I think the end result is very special and personal, and I’m proud of it.”
The live recording of the double album includes both sung and instrumental songs. The band clearly really enjoys playing together. The album was recorded during the 2024 Gratitude tour.
