Hero 5K Run/Walk

Our annual Hero 5K Run/Walk event helps us raise money to provide care packages to our military personnel serving around the world from NEPA. The Blue Star Mothers of NEPA also continually stock the veterans room at the Wilkes Barre/Scranton International Airport.
Our local communities' generosity allow us to pursue our hard work for the dedication to our troops both active and inactive, and to our honored veterans.

The event will kick off at 8AM with runner's registration and a packet pickup, as well as DJ and basket raffles.

There will be the raising of the American flag and National Anthem at 9:45AM with the 5K starting promptly at 10AM. Following the race awards will be given in several age groups.
