About the event

Unraveling Empire at the Kitchen Table: Native Women's Wisdom
“Unraveling Empire at the Kitchen Table” will dive into Native Feminism, encompassing traditional native practices, family kinship systems, and resistance to Western patriarchal norms.

Leading this event will be Director of NAIITIS Shari Russell, along with participants Rev. Dr. Kristina Lizardy-Hajbi and Erica Littlewolf, as well as Phillips faculty Dr. Anne Carter Walker and Dr. Lisa Dellinger. The event will close with open reflections and a final blessing from Wotko Long, leaving participants with renewed insight and a sense of communal grounding in the wisdom of Native women.
