The Tulsa World Career Fair is one of the city’s largest career fairs. For a limited time, employers looking to fill jobs can get a discount on a booth at the event.
We have two career fairs every year, and the next one is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 4, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Exchange Center at Expo Square.
The event is free and open to the public.
This event attracts job seekers from across northeastern Oklahoma. Employers have booth space to meet them face-to-face for open positions and share job opportunities that they might not know exist.
We have had a lot of participants get a job on the spot at the event.
Employers, to register your booth with early-bird pricing, which ends Aug. 15, go to tulsacareerfair.com.
“We believe in this event because it serves our community,” said Misti Rinehart, vice president of advertising for Tulsa World Media Co. “There are not a lot of events in our city that bring together so many companies looking to fill their positions. We are happy to be there for the business community and Tulsa-area residents to help them come together.”
The local group Overcoming Job Transition will be at the event to help edit resumes.
Vertical Productions is offering free professional headshots to those who attend.
The Tulsa World’s career fairs are just some of the events in our yearly event lineup, which includes the annual All-World Awards during the summer and the Best in the World Awards in the fall.
