Second Sunday Singing is a monthly curated listening and singing experience devoted to music as medicine. Through both solo original offerings and shared singing, this inclusive, intentional space offers music that heals, connects, and uplifts.
We sing to release, express, connect and embody. We sing to celebrate, inspire, grieve, rage and heal. We sing together, in community, allowing our voices to flow together, to deepen, to nourish and continue to learn how to walk this experience of being human.
This month, we have the distinct honor of creating space for and hosting this event with Marca (Marx) Cassity. I have had the privilege of experiencing Marx’s music in medicine circles - full of heart, depth and hope that was forged in the fire of pain and triumph and I am personally thrilled to get to sit with their music and storytelling again, as well as share it with our community.
Their music is medicine.
