ABOUT MARY LATTIMORE
Mary Lattimore’s Goodbye, Hotel Arkada is a luminous meditation on impermanence, memory, and change. Inspired by a beloved, aging hotel in Croatia facing renovation, the album captures the bittersweet beauty of things lost to time. Over six expansive tracks, the acclaimed harpist and composer weaves improvised melodies with refined textures, joined by collaborators like Lol Tolhurst (The Cure), Rachel Goswell (Slowdive), and Meg Baird.
Rooted in emotion and place, the album reflects on fading experiences, shifting landscapes, and the desire to hold onto meaning. As one of today’s most expressive instrumental storytellers, Lattimore offers a sonic elegy to the ephemeral—music that remembers even as it lets go.
