Drawing Parallels

A collaborative exhibition bringing together three local artists and three incarcerated artists, presented in partnership with a nonprofit dedicated to supporting creative expression inside correctional facilities. Each artwork in the show was created in dialogue—an exchange of ideas, perspectives, and shared humanity across physical and social barriers. By pairing “inside” and local artists, Drawing Parallels highlights the connections that emerge through art, revealing parallel experiences, challenges, and hopes. This exhibition invites viewers to witness how creativity bridges distance and opens space for empathy, understanding, and transformation.
