This ghoulishly fun workshop class will teach you to make your own hanging ghost decorations from fabric scraps for $8 per person (suggested age 12+ for sewing). You can pay Ms. Eades with cash when you arrive.
If you would like to bring your own supplies you are welcome to do so. There will be a $3 discount on the class if you decide to bring your own materials. The class includes an easy hand sewing lesson for the button eyes. Total craft time is less than 50 minutes.
Needed supplies:
Sewing needle and thread,
3 buttons (2 for eyes, and 1 for hanging rope/string),
Fabric scrap(s),
Ribbon/decorative string,
Stuffing for pillow/plushie or a styrofoam ball as an alternative to the stuffing, and
Rope/string/fishing line to hang it from when finished.
Examples of fabric scraps you might have around your house: T-shirts with holes in them, old jeans, bed sheets or pillow cases you replaced, or towels with stains on them. Just make sure to wash your up-cycled fabric so it's clean while you work with it.
