David Madero is an internationally recognized Mexican-American sculptor, educator, and host/judge on Netflix’s Metal Shop Masters. He is the owner of Madero Co., a welded art company specializing in monumental and small-scale works crafted in mild steel, stainless steel, bronze, and copper. David is known for his mastery of a wide range of welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, Stick, oxy-acetylene, and laser welding—and for pushing the creative limits of sculptural steel. His work has been commissioned by private collectors and global brands such as BMW, Dickies, Adobe, Jack Daniels, and Activision. A passionate educator, David has taught welded art workshops and delivered demonstrations around the world, including in Mexico, Japan, Italy, the United States, and Kazakhstan, and is celebrated for his dynamic teaching style and commitment to inspiring artists at every level.
