This October, Immanuel Presbyterian Church invites you to an unforgettable cinematic experience. On Saturday, October 25 at 7:00 p.m., we will present the original 1925 silent film The Phantom of the Opera, complete with live, improvised organ accompaniment by Clay Whittington, Director of Music Ministries. This special screening marks the 100th anniversary of the film’s release, making it the perfect occasion to revisit one of the most influential works of early cinema.
Based on Gaston Leroux’s classic novel, The Phantom of the Opera tells the story of Christine Daaé, a gifted young soprano at the Paris Opera House, who is secretly tutored by a mysterious masked figure living in the labyrinth beneath the theatre.
