Join us for a special evening of love, connection, community and transformation, led by the Noke Koî People, Amazon forest keepers from Brazil. They will be singing and sharing sacred knowledge from their people, centuries old traditions, including offers of deep healing with sacred chants and Hapé.
The Noke Koi are an Indigenous people of the Brazilian Amazon Rainforest, living on Indigenous lands in the municipalities of Cruzeiro do Sul and Tarauacá in the northern part of Acre. For generations, their way of life has been deeply intertwined with the land, where every tree, river, and spirit holds meaning. Unlike many Indigenous groups who have faced linguistic loss, the Noke Koi have preserved their native language, Noke Vana, across their entire population. This remarkable resilience reflects their unwavering commitment to keeping their traditions alive.
We are honored to welcome the Noke Koi to Solar Culture, whose presence, prayers, and songs bring the essence of the Amazon to our space. Through their connection to the land, their sacred medicines, and their teachings, they remind us of the power of reciprocity, of living in balance with nature and honoring the wisdom it offers.
Thursday October 23rd, 7-9pm, $35 at the door
