This gathering is for those that have a loved one who has died.
As we move through the Halloween/Samhain season the veil is thin between the physical and spirit worlds, making this a particularly sacred opportunity to honor and connect with our loved ones and hold space for our grief.
We will gather in a circle around a community altar.
Our circle will include guided meditation, breath-work, sharing, ritual, reiki, yoga, QiGong & somatic movement practices for moving with our grief.
Please bring an item that reminds you of your loved one for the altar (you will take it with you after the circle), yoga mat, water, journal, and pen.
I recommend wearing clothing you're comfortable moving in.

A little bit about my current experience with grief:
My mother passed away about 2 years ago, after a month of being unconscious in the ICU from a work-related injury. She was 61, and healthy and vibrant before the incident. My grief has been deep and at times completely overpowering, and I find so much healing in community, ritual, movement, and intention.
I hope you will join me, and that we all find a sense of peace and gratitude with our grief.
Parking and location:
Our space is in a place commonly called The Hive, and the building (B) says Old Adobe Office Park, which is at 326 S Wilmot. Don't rely on gps, as we are actually behind (west) The Girls Estate Sales on Wilmot and 14th, just south of Broadway. To find us, turn west on the small street 14th, and you will see our building directly behind The Girls. Our door is on the east side of Building B (B-140) facing the covered parking.
Please park in uncovered parking.
