As the season of the ancestors comes closer, join Web of Life for an interactive community ceremony that calls to, and honors, our sacred selves, benevolent ancestors and community connections for strength. Your magical hosts are Web of Life ministers Elisabeth and Quynn with Hawko holding space with his drumming.
In our enclosed outdoor sacred space, Elisabeth and Quynn welcome all kind people who are ready to call to their forgotten wisdom keepers, and work with the elements in the following ways to bring relief, inspiration and hopefully, some needed "healing" for this season.
We open the space with Air to:
-Move through the veil to call in spirits, ancestors, and audience inner knowing/hearts.
We engage with the energy of Fire to:
-Activate our inner fire through drumming, shaking, toning to cast off what doesn't belong.
We flow with the energy of Water to:
-Infuse an object with grief while expressing a lament, then letting go into water.
We invoke the energies of Earth to:
-Call upon benevolent ancestors of all species to reclaim helpful power and strengthen meaningful connections.
Our gratitude closes the circle with:
-Rhythm making to ground us, breathing and sounding for centering in community. Bells and Silence close our space. Optional sharing, tea and soup are available afterwards.
This ceremony is open to those 18 and older. Bring your own chair if preferable, and clothing to suit you as the sun goes down. You are also invited to wear clothing that honors your ancestors (optional).
Requested donation is $13-$33. No one is turned away due to lack of funds.
