Take a break, make some noise, and recharge at a drop-in drum circle on October 7 from 12–2 p.m. under the tent at the UA Mall across from the Student Union.
All drums and percussion instruments are provided. Just show up, grab an instrument, and join in.
Led by Andrew Ecker, DCF, and Monica Patton, DCF of Drumming Sounds, the session is all about music, connection, and the ways drumming can boost your energy, mood, and wellbeing.
No musical talent required — within minutes you’ll be part of the sound. There will be drumming, singing, and storytelling.
Stay for five minutes or the whole session, either way, you’ll leave smiling. Plus, you’ll get to jam with Dr. Stephen Dahmer, Director of the University of Arizona Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine.
