Wonders on Wheels

Get ready for a museum experience on wheels! The Wonders on Wheels Mobile Museum is coming to the Truth or Consequences Public Library on October 29, bringing a hands-on, family-friendly exhibit right to our community.

Operated by the New Mexico Department of Cultural Affairs, Wonders on Wheels (WoW) is a 38-foot RV transformed into a traveling museum. Inside, you’ll find 300 square feet of interactive exhibits featuring history, art, science, and culture—curated from one of the state’s eight historic sites. This year’s exhibit, Eight Sites, One History, invites visitors to explore New Mexico’s rich past, from ancient Indigenous communities to Spanish settlers and beyond. All ages are welcome, and admission is free. Don’t miss this chance to experience the magic of museums, without leaving town!
