SwimRun Cape Cod

SwimRun Cape Cod is a one-day event with two distances. The Long Course covers 9.7 miles of running and 1.8 miles of swimming across 7 bodies of water, offering a true endurance challenge. The Short Course option features 4 miles of running with 0.75 miles of swimming across three freshwater ponds. A longer course option may be introduced in the future.

Like most swim-run competitions, we welcome solo competitors and teams of two athletes. Solo competitors may race either distance, while two-person teams may compete in the Long Course only. All registrations must be made in advance—no day-of-race sign-ups will be available.

The Long Course is a point-to-point race, starting at Ballston Beach and traversing Truro and Wellfleet, finishing near Wellfleet Elementary School. Short Course athletes will start and finish at the school.

SwimRun Cape Cod is a proud MySwimRun Championship qualifier, giving athletes the chance to earn a spot in the World Championships.
