The theme is Penjing and Suiseki.
Please bring along any viewing stones, tray landscapes, trees that exhibit animal-like characteristics and rock plantings. These Chinese derived art forms are not normally as stylised as Japanese bonsai and tell stories within their composition. Use of miniatures, models, animals, mud men and buildings add realism and scale. Let your imagination run wild!!
