9/1/25 Monday Labor Day 11am-3pm in Troy, MO
Where: off of HWY 47/Main St
come join the peaceful protest happening nationwide! Don’t have to live near a city to participate. Local groups of Lincoln County are coming together to cohost one in Troy, MO.
On 9/1/25, the people who want to walk will meet at:
•10:30am in front of the courthouse at 201 Main Street Troy MO 63379
•10:45 am we will walk north on Main St on the side walk and end at the intersection of Main and Hwy 47.
•We will remain at that intersection during the protest until 3pm.
Anyone protesting but not walking will just meet at the ending location of the walk and the protest will go until 3pm. Plenty of parking behind the elementary as school is out that day. Considering we are protesting how the government treating our schools, this makes it all the more suitable locale.
Do not feel pressure to attend the ENTIRE event. Think of it like taking a shift.
If you can’t stop by, we would love it if you drove by and honked and cheered and gave your support however you could or maybe by sharing this event to get more eyes on it!
There will be helpful Event Marshall present in hi-vis vest to help with the general coordination and help keep the event flowing.
Things can bring: Water/gatorade/ high protein snacks/ sunblock/ good walking shoes/ umbrella if needed cuz this event is RAIN OR SHINE
