Families are invited to join us every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month for a free, fun hands-on project. These mind-expanding projects help children discover creative play through science, technology, engineering, the arts and mathematics.
On November 1, join us for a very special STEAM-Powered Saturday with award-winning STEM author Kathy Ceceri to celebrate the release of her new book, "Paper Inventions,"! The workshop will feature a paper "jack-in-the-box" activity from the book, and Kathy will be there to chat her book and projects, and offer books and signings!
This is a drop-in program for the whole family; participants can join anytime from 10am-1pm, but we recommend allocating a minimum of 30-45 minutes for each activity. Parents/guardians are expected to stay with their children at all times and actively participate in the workshop. This workshop is recommended for families with children ages 7 and up, as it requires some fine motor skills for folding.
Brought to you for free through the support of the T Backer Fund, SRC Inc, the Technology Management Institute, and the Troy Savings Bank Charitable Foundation, Inc.
