D&D Lvl 7 One Shot Adventure: Escape from Lich Mountain

Join DM Alex and the rest of your fellow minions in this madcap Dungeons and Dragons one-shot escaping a collapsing evil lair.
Months of evil planning have led up to this dreadful moment! You’ve served your villain night and also night to finally earn your unjust rewards for the blood, sweat and tears you’ve made others shed. As the foul ritual comes to its wicked crescendo, something goes terribly wrongly wrong.
Has some fool team of heroes interfered?Has some dark servant’s service been not so faithful?! And perhaps most importantly: will you be able to work together while the volcano crumbles around you?
This one-shot will combine a small dose of social deduction with a harried escape from a collapsing dungeon and will take about 3 to 4 hours to complete depending on player choices. Some previous play experience is encouraged but all are invited to join the table!
Come prepared with a character of your own imagination equipped with an uncommon magical item using any currently published 5th Edition Dungeons and Dragons materials or use one of the pre-generated characters and items provided. You are encouraged to bring along writing supplies.
The materials and pace of these sessions are intended for participants 14 years and older.
A ticket is required for each participant in your party. Seats are limited so make sure to snag your spot!
Seating begins at 5:30pm to grab food, drink and settle in before the game begins. Please arrive early if you are planning to choose a pre-generated character so you may familiarize yourself. Printed characters are not required, feel free to play your character on a tablet or app if that is easiest for you.

DM Alex Timmis (he/him) loves telling stories around the table with friends. He has been playing Dungeons and Dragons for eight years and rolling dice behind the DM screen for four of them. While an improv performer and instructor, Alex fell in love with role playing games and helped bring FIASCO! to life onstage at the Mopco Improv Theater in Schenectady. He is currently the Artistic Director of the Electric City Puppets. Role playing games, like improv, give us space to play and explore roles we don’t typically get to play in our day-to-day lives. Alex encourages a playful and respectful table where all players get a chance to add to the narrative and share the spotlight with one another.
