About the event
What Lives, Forgotten
What Lives, Forgotten is a new writing performance, co-created by Lauren Stone-Symes and Hattie Taylor in partnership with ZELTCH, inspired by the lives of real Land Girls who were stationed in Wiltshire during WW2. From these real life inspiring (and forgotten) women, we have created fictionalised accounts of moments that could have happened for members of the Women's Land Army. What Lives, Forgotten documents pivotal points in the lives of Dorothy, Olive and Winifred, young women farming in West Lavington. Inspired by the practice of Katie Mitchell, What Lives, Forgotten is performed in the style of Live Cinema.
