A day dedicated to one of our all-time favourites — Putty.
Verdant Putty Day is an annual, highly anticipated craft beer event celebrating the release of Verdant Brewing Co.'s iconic, hop-forward Double IPA, "Putty," usually in late January. It's a major date in the UK beer calendar, marking the moment hundreds of bars and venues across the country tap the new year's brew, known for its tropical, citrusy, and dank flavors from hops like Galaxy, Mosaic, and Azacca.
Putty is an 8% ABV New England style Double IPA (DIPA) with a soft, hazy body, famous for its intense hop saturation.
The Event is a massive launch with tap takeovers and special releases at many, many craft beer pubs. It's a social event, fostering togetherness and shaking off January blues.
In essence, if you love hazy DIPAs, Verdant Putty Day is the annual pilgrimage to taste the latest version of one of the most sought-after beers in the UK.
