Born in Reykjavik in 1984, Ingibjörg Jara is an interdisciplinary artist specializing in performative spaces. She holds a master's degree in scenography from the Universität der Künste in Berlin, where she studied under Professor Hartmut Meyer. Ingibjörg has created scenography and costumes for platforms such as Schaubühne and Sophiensäle in Berlin; Iceland Symphony Orchestra and Reykjavik City Theater. In collaboration with Visionis Reykjavík, she has developed exhibition designs for museums in both Reykjavík and Copenhagen. Most recently, she worked with Marvaða Creations on a project at Harpa Music Hall. Ingibjörg is currently based in Reykjavík.
