"Get to Know Each Other" Party/Social-dance

NTNUI Dans Lindy Hop/Balboa is inviting to a "Get to Know Each Other" event as part of the weekly Friday social-dances. It is a perfect opportunity to connect and socialize with all the lovely people of our community.* (See notes at the end)

We will kick off the event with a taster-class of the "Shim Sham routine", which is a classic and widely recognized tap- and swing line-dance, known for its simple and repetitive sequence that makes it accessible for dancers of all levels to perform together. The Shim Sham is commonly performed during social-dances; fostering unity in both tap and Lindy Hop/swing communities
world-wide.

After the taster-class there will be a social-dance, accompanied with activities, cakes/snacks and other surprises. Hope to see you there; you are warmly welcome 💌

*Notes:

❗ Due to a NTNUI dans policy for Skippergata, everyone who is not a member of NTNUI dans needs to pay an entrance fee of 50 nok for the event (Class and/or social dance). This is to be vippsed or paid for in cash at the event.

❗ Due to NTNUI Dans venue rules you are not allowed to bring alchoholic beverages to the party. We will have some snacks (and please bring more!), and feel free to bring non-alcoholic beverages.
