Snaustrinda sprenger alle grenser for hva man kan gjøre som et spelemannslag. Folkemusikken er sterk i alle fremførelser, men det blir aldri kjedelig. Tidligere innslag på Samfundet har de “Spilt på Sex”, og “Bergtatt” hele publikummet. Med andre ord er dette en opplevelse utenom det vanlige, og det kan man ikke gå glipp av.

Join us for an enchanting evening as Vuelie fills with folk music. We have only one piece of advice: Dance your heart out!
The dance floor will be on fire when Snaustrinda Spelemannslag takes the stage with their lively folk tunes and songs!
Snaustrinda pushes all boundaries of what a traditional folk ensemble can do. The folk music is strong in every performance, but it’s never boring. Previous appearances at Samfundet have seen them captivate the entire audience with pieces like “Spilt på Sex” and “Bergtatt.” In other words, this is an extraordinary experience not to be missed.
Since their formation in 1966, they have brought joy and invited everyone to dance. They have been a regular feature since UKA-67 and have no plans of stopping.
The name Snaustrinda comes from a neighborhood in Trondheim, at the very top of the old Strinda fields, where it was sparse and windswept. A friend of the ensemble’s founder had a small apartment there and complained about how unbearably cold it was—and that was all it took to give the ensemble its name.
